New four contracts for ferries signed with Remontowa Shipyard
Adria winch will supply anchor-mooring equipment for four double ended car passenger ferries which will be built in Remontowa Shipyard in Poland. Capacity of ferries is up to 120 cars and 296 passengers.
High efficient diesel electric hybrid ferries are designed byLMG Marin. During normal operation entire required power is taken from two battey packs installed on board. The batteries are then recharged from land grid during vessel short stay at port due to fast charging solution. Ferries are built for owner Norled and will operate in nowegian coastal zone.
Due to highly narrow deck space Adria Winch was choosen to supply very economical solution when it comes to equipment mass,volume and consumption. Package includes one hydraulic anchor-wire winch with safety remote anchor-drop function and two hydraulic light-weight capstans of aluminium base with pulling force of 4,5 ton.
All four vessels will be built during 2019.
